Enfo Group in strategic alliance with Relacom

Enfo grows further through acquisitions. In order to streamline and focus its core business, Relacom has sold its internal IT operations and data centre to Enfo. This partnership increases Enfo's operations and its skill set with 24 new employees. The agreement also means an expansion of Relacom's responsibility to supply on-site services to Enfo's customers in the Nordic countries.

Relacom is a North European network service provider that provides installation and maintenance of M2M systems and the telecom-, data- and electricity grid that enables the systems' functions. Enfo is a Nordic IT company that supplies advanced IT solutions and services. Although the two companies have co-operated in the Baltic countries for several years, the new agreement extends Enfo's and Relacom's co-operation to Sweden.

"This is a deal that is in line with our growth strategy, and we are very pleased with the development of our co-operation with Relacom, both in Finland and Sweden as well as the Baltic Sea region." says Osmo Wilska, Director of Enfo Oyj´s Outsourcing Services. "Our goal is to become an even stronger and more effective Nordic IT company within service operations."

Enfo and Relacom together constitute a powerful player that can deliver customised network and IT services on the Nordic market.

"The agreement increases our potential to grow and addresses increasing customer demands for modern and transparent outsourcing services," says Johan Wilhelmsson, Business Unit Director at Enfo Sweden. "Enfo also strengthens its offering concerning cloud-based IT operations."

The agreement means that Relacom will lower its IT operation cost with less risk and increased flexibility since Enfo is taking over the existing operations on-site. Jonas Wedin, COO of Relacom, says, "The co-operation means that Relacom and Enfo will have a strong common offering in the Nordic market. The agreement also means that our employees come closer to the core business. At the same time, Relacom can lower its costs, focus on field services and create a foundation for growth based on an existing good co-operation. Our former employees will develop their competence in their respective field."

Johan de Verdier, Executive Vice President at Enfo, adds, "We are very happy to welcome these experienced and competent co-workers."
De Verdier agrees that the co-operation creates opportunities. He says, "This agreement is a very important and strategic step for us at Enfo, to be able to offer existing and new customers a dynamic and efficient operating service in Sweden – not least thanks to the experience and expertise of our new employees. I truly believe this is a win-win for all parties."
Enfo and Relacom will not disclose the contract value.
