Relacom focuses on consulting services - launches Nordic consultancy under new brand

The new initiative creates a network of 250 technical consultants within telecommunications and energy.

Orbion Consulting has unique experience in the Nordic telecom market, where most of the consultants have been involved in the expansions of several generations of the telecom network and where they have worked closely with the leading electricity and telecommunications operators. This has allowed Orbion Consulting to develop a competitive product portfolio based on its many years of experience and its industry-leading expertise. With assignments in such areas as project management, network planning, project planning/preparation and a variety of specialized tasks, Orbion Consulting offers external expertise and process outsourcing, where Orbion takes responsibility for all or part of a process. Orbion Consulting offers its services to local electricity and telephone companies and operators active throughout the Nordic countries.

The new brand, Orbion Consulting, will be used from 1 March and lets Relacom differentiate its consultancy services from the regular installation and service business. Orbion Consulting will be a wholly owned subsidiary of Relacom and will be headquartered in Stockholm.
